Faculty Recruitment Portal

DIGITS@IISc is happy to launch a faculty recruitment portal (FRP) that enables prospective  faculty members to apply online to the Institute. The portal will provide user accounts to the faculty candidates to help them to (a) submit their application package and (b) to know the status of their application. The portal will also provide user accounts  for Department chairs, Council Section, Registrar, Divisional Chairs, and the Director to  obtain a status update.

At present, the application form is a fillable pdf form (available on the IISc website).  FRP will now enable online entry of the same.   PHP and MySQL (DB) are used for implementing the portal which is  hosted on a virtual machine on the Azure cloud.
